According to a study there are nearly 7.5 millions Americans suffering from Psoriasis. The study also says that nearly 150,000 to 260,000 fresh cases of psoriasis are seen, among that nearly 20,000 children below the age of 10 suffer from Psoriasis. Psoriasis is a skin infection that is not contagious but it can persistent.

After a certain period about 10 to 30% of people suffering from psoriasis can also get psoriatic arthritis, which cause stiffness and swelling in the joints and it is very painful too. There are various types of Psoriasis they are: scalp psoriasis, genital psoriasis, Facial Psoriasis, feet and hand psoriasis, Pustular psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, guttate psoriasis, inverse psoriasis and erythrodermic psoriasis.
